| Founded over 5 years ago, Mad Macs
Racing has never done anything halfway. This was true when we
were heavily involved in the CASC-OR Solo I & Solo II
Championship Series in Ontario Canada. It started while
campaigning a 1991 Ford Mustang GT that was fully prepped to
handle the rigors of the racetrack and the solo lots. With many
class victories in 2002 with their 2001 Corvette Z06, Mad Macs
Racing took the class championship with ease.
In the spring of 2002 the team made
the jump to Showroom Stock Sedan road racing in the ActionFront
Data Recovery Labs Ontario Street Stock Challenge. Team owner &
driver, Perry Iannuzzi, known for putting 110% effort in
everything he does, placed the team 10th overall in the
Championship and for 2002 and 5th overall for 2003. Also in the
same year, he committed full resources into running a 2-car team
in the Ontario Challenge Cup, where the team successfully
captured a first and second place class championship.
Mac Macs Racing takes the knowledge & experience from the race
track into its full service Solo & Race car preparation
facilities located in Markham, Ontario Canada and provides up &
coming drivers with the tools they need to win.
This is our approach to business, too. We dont just prep race
cars; we prep cars that can win. We sell only quality
performance products and stand behind their quality. You can be
assured, if we sell you a part, prep your car for the track,
youre getting years of competition knowledge that only comes
from thousands of miles of seat time & testing.
Driver Perry Iannuzzi, Mad Macs Racing team owner and driver. He
is 47 years old and married with two teenage children, currently
living in Stouffville, Ontario. As the owner of a small,
successful graphic design firm in the Markham area offering
design services to some of Canada's largest corporate names. As
retail and corporate marketing has been his specialty for over
27 years now, he knows how to position clients products and/or
services in the public's eyes for maximum results.
As an avid racing fan and
volunteer as the past Solo I Director (three years) & past Vice
President of the Canadian Automobile Sport Clubs - Ontario
Region (three years), he has been involved in motor sports for
well over 12 years in one fashion or another.
He has campaigned a fully race
prepared 2002 Nissan Sentra XE in all 12 races in the Ontario
Street Stock Challenge Series in both 2002 & 2003 along with
racing in 12 CASC-OR Touring GT Championship Series and nine
Ontario Regional Sprint Series in 2002, 2003 & 2004. Having also
attended numerous racing schools and countless lapping events,
logging thousands of miles at tracks including Mosport
International Raceway, Shannonville Motorsport Park, Toronto
International Raceway Park & Watkins Glen.
